Org Day

Jon's company had an "org day." Basically that means the company put on a party for the soldiers and their families. It was fun to actually get together with people in his unit. We had a barbecue at the park. A nice day to spend with good company and good weather! To bad we will be changing units soon...hopefully we find out where we will be going soon!

Party house

We love when we have our friends over! One of our friends little boy has titled our house "the party house." I was honored and felt so loved! We love having them over and try to have as much fun as we can! Here is what we do...

In our apartment complex we are lucky enough to have a splash pad...so nice with the hot weather. At first Cohen was a little hesitant of the splash pad...the water shooting out scared him. With a little help from his little friends he has learned to love it and never wants to stop playing in the "bater!"

We also have a park...oh how we love the slide...

Just in case you couldn't tell we have superwoman, captain America and spider man!

Tournament in Las Cruces

This weekend Jon had a softball tournament with his team in Las Cruces. We made a weekend of it and stayed in a hotel there. It was nice to get away for a little bit. Jon hasn't gotten away at all since we moved here...it was a much needed trip for him! In between his games we went to a park right by the fields, we ate at good restaurant's, went to the farmer's market and had a blast just spending time together. It was a great weekend!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

SOFTBALL!!!

Jon is so excited he found a team to be on in El Paso...well they invited him to be on the team...Sportsline! Jon is thrilled to be back playing again! We really like the team...very nice people! They make us feel like family! Yet again get to go sit through softball games...I'm not complaining...I actually missed watching him play. Cohen loves to cheer on his Dad...he wants to play like him. At the end of the game Cohen gets to join in the huddle and cheer! We are excited to cheer him on!

First time at the ZOO!!!

Cohen went to the zoo for the first time! He loved it! Every animal that we went by he knew what they said. It was so cute...what a smart boy I have. The lion and meerkats seemed to be his favorites.

He didn't want to leave the lions! He just stood there going "roarrrrrr."

By the end of the day these boys were sure tuckered out! We had so much fun! Thanks Shirye and Hadyen for inviting us!

Reading time...

I love when I sit down to read my scriptures in the morning and Cohen will go grab what he calls his "Jesus book." He'll sit next to me and read his book...oh how I love times like these!

Trucks!

On Saturday we went grocery shopping and guess what was sitting in the parking lot...monster trucks! I guess they were doing something here in El Paso and they had them on display. Cohen was so excited! We made our way over to them...they are huge! Cohen kept on saying..."ucks...ucks!" Definitely a good day to go grocery shopping!

I love when in the middle of Stake Conference my little man is yelling

"oh sh!#" repeatedly.

When in reality he is trying to say "what's this?"

We got a few good looks. It didn't help that Jon was laughing the whole time.
